Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee meets with businesses on Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13

This afternoon, October 11, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province held a meeting with businesses on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day, October 13.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Le Thi Lan Huong; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ho Thi Thu Hang; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam and 300 typical enterprises representing 3,500 enterprises operating in the province attended.

In 2024, along with the development of the whole country, the socio-economic, defense and security situation of the province has achieved many positive results in all fields.

The province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the first 9 months increased by 5.82% over the same period in 2023; the total budget revenue in the area by September 30 reached over VND 3,260 billion; 75/101 communes met new rural standards and 3/7 districts met new rural standards...

Achieving the above results always has a significant contribution from the business community and entrepreneurs in the province who have always strived to innovate, be creative, be dynamic, and promote their role as the main force and vanguard on the economic front and international economic integration.

Enterprises are not only production and business units, but also accompany the government in social and humanitarian activities; many enterprises have proactively participated in charity programs, gratitude programs as well as helping and supporting people in particularly difficult areas or when natural disasters and epidemics occur...

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the great contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs in the province in contributing to building the homeland of Quang Tri increasingly prosperous.

With the courage and aspiration to develop and become rich, the business and entrepreneur community is growing in both quantity and quality; contributing to economic growth, creating jobs, and proactively participating in many meaningful charity and humanitarian programs.

It is recommended that in the coming time, the business community and entrepreneurs need to take the lead in increasing investment in infrastructure; training human resources and attracting workers; demonstrating solidarity, helping and supporting each other in the community to overcome challenges and hardships in order to achieve more important results in many fields.

The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and all levels and sectors pledge to the business community and entrepreneurs to always be receptive, open-minded, and make focused efforts to overcome difficulties, care for, create favorable conditions, and stand side by side with businesses and entrepreneurs. Continue to promote administrative procedure reform to reduce inconvenience for people and businesses. Take production and business results and business satisfaction as a measure of the performance of departments, branches, sectors, and local authorities.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 17 individuals who have made many contributions to the socio-economic development of Quang Tri province; the Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises awarded certificates of merit to 20 individuals of the Provincial Business Association with outstanding achievements in building and developing the provincial business association.
