In 2025, Tuyen Quang province strives to eliminate 6,928 temporary and dilapidated houses with a total estimated cost of over 343 billion VND. To achieve the set goal, all levels, sectors and localities in the province are mobilizing all resources to support policy families and households with housing difficulties to repair and build new houses.
At the same time, the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses at all levels has actively mobilized and propagated people to implement the Party's major policies, listened to people's opinions, thereby promptly removing difficulties at the grassroots level, creating high consensus among the people.
Through the implementation process in many localities, it has been proven that the key to achieving this goal lies not only in financial resources, but also in the drastic participation, the synchronous coordination of all levels of government, organizations and especially the closeness and understanding with the people.
In many places, that spirit is being strongly realized, with determination and concrete actions to bring safe homes and brighter futures to thousands of households.
The image of youth union members, women's union members, veterans, police officers, and soldiers working together to level the ground, lay foundations, and help poor households build houses has become familiar with the spirit of "whoever has something to help, helps".
These days, in Hoang Son village, Chan Son commune, Yen Son district, the atmosphere of urgent and joyful construction is filled with the family of Mrs. Hoang Thi Muoi. The people in the village, the youth union members and mass organizations join hands to contribute their efforts and work with the hope that Mrs. Muoi's new house will soon be completed so that she can have a solid place to live, work and produce with peace of mind and stabilize her life.
Mrs. Muoi emotionally shared: “Because my family is in difficult circumstances, the dream of a new house is really far away. I am very happy to receive 60 million VND in support from the Party, the State and the locality to build a new house. Moreover, during this time, I also received support from all the mass organizations of the district and commune to dismantle the house, level the ground and dig the foundation. My family will soon live in a new, spacious and solid house without worrying about storms. We will be able to work, produce and escape poverty with peace of mind.”

Comrade Nguyen Trong Doan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Na Hang district, said: “One of the biggest difficulties in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is changing the awareness of some people. Some households are used to the old way of life, while others do not have money to cope. In addition, local resources are limited, and mobilizing funds and materials is sometimes difficult. To overcome these difficulties and challenges, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has thoroughly grasped the spirit of determination and not retreating in the face of difficulties. Determining that this is not only an administrative task but also a responsibility and sentiment of cadres towards the people. If we are close to, understand and join hands with the people, the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses will certainly be achieved."
In addition to the proactive capital resources of the people and the support of the State, it is necessary to have the companionship and support of organizations, businesses and people of all walks of life to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province as planned.
Right from the beginning of 2025, the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Quang province organized a launching ceremony to support the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Through the ceremony, it received support and registered support from cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, agencies, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists in the province with an amount of more than 30 billion VND.
