On the afternoon of August 30, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union to organize a political activity program with the theme: Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces Youth promote the spirit of "5 pioneers" according to the instructions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in an effort to complete the goals and tasks of the Youth Union and professional work.
The program aims to thoroughly grasp the spirit of "5 pioneers" as advised by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to Vietnamese youth at the 12th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2022-2027...
The program consists of 2 parts: The first part is a book and photo exhibition with more than 120 images, infographics and 80 books on 2 topics: the life and revolutionary career of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and his comrades with the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces; The second part is a political activity of the youth bloc of the armed forces in the city to discuss 5 pioneering topics....
Speaking at the program, Major General Tran Duc Tai, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, affirmed that the spirit of “5 pioneers” as instructed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has great value and significance for Vietnamese youth in general and the armed forces youth in particular. This has truly become a guideline for all thoughts, actions and goals.
Through the political activities program, Major General Tran Duc Tai believes that the youth of the City's armed forces will have a more specific and clear view of the spirit of "5 pioneers", thereby determining for themselves to always remember, strive to rise up, be pioneers, be brave, be ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks, and raise their awareness and responsibility in performing tasks and in life.
After the program, units under the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department and units inside and outside the force continued to launch a peak day to mobilize the masses, youth and socio-political organizations to participate in removing illegal advertising products in 312 communes, wards and towns, to celebrate the 79th anniversary of National Day; launch a peak period of activities to renovate urban spaces, build the City's beauty, towards celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).
