(Dan Tri) - Sharing about the name "Sol Dream", musician Giang Son said that the name of the live concert was inspired by the title of the song "Midday Dream", which she composed 20 years ago.
Sol Dream - a large-scale music night celebrating Giang Son's 40th anniversary of musical activities - will take place on the evening of February 15 (January 18, At Ty year) at the outdoor stage of Park City Urban Area, Hanoi.
The program brings together the voices: Thanh Lam, Tung Duong, Ha Tran, Khanh Linh, Ha Linh, Hoang Dung, Thuy Chi. Musician Luu Ha An takes on the role of music director, Xuan Truong is the stage director, and Thien Binh is the production director.

Sharing about the name Sol Dream , musician Giang Son said that the name of the live concert was inspired by the title of the song Midday Dream, which she composed 20 years ago . At the same time, this is also a "variation" from the female musician's own name - which means the Sol note in music.
"This is a true live concert about Giang Son's music, introducing to everyone the spiritual children I have cherished for so long that I have devoted my heart and passion to. An outdoor music night in a large space of about 2,000 people, it is truly a dream that I have longed for and pondered for many years", Giang Son shared.
According to the female musician, that dream was ignited since she was a 10-year-old girl, composing her first song for her father. However, that fire has only burned silently for many years, because holding a live concert is not an easy task, including the financial factor.
Fate helped Giang Son meet producer Thien Binh when he was the Music Director of the Phu Quang program Tinh yeu o lai in October 2024.
"When she suggested doing a live concert for me, I was very happy and immediately accepted. My dream is coming closer when I can do a real live concert to share my composing journey, my musical maturity and celebrate 40 years of composing," musician Giang Son revealed.

In Sol Dream, Giang Son's 40-year musical journey will be recreated through the female musician's compositions. The highlight of the program will be the combination of singers with familiar songs.
Notably, in addition to contemporary pop or folk songs, the music night also features intense, passionate songs such as: Thu Can, Co Va Mua, Vet Buon... In addition, Giang Son will introduce a number of new songs that have never been released, including 2 songs performed by Thanh Lam and Thuy Chi.
At the event, music director and musician Luu Ha An humorously said: "When I looked at the list of singers participating in the program, I just thought I had a "soccer team full of superstars". The problem is how to let everyone sing the song they like without "arguing".
In case everyone can't agree on who sings which song, I'll just turn off my phone and only turn it on on the day of practice."

When asked about the salary for the "stars", Giang Son said: "All the singers I invited, everyone told me that they don't take performance fees. I was extremely touched when the singers said that. However, I can't let that happen, I still send the fees to the artists."
Representing the artists, Tung Duong joked that everyone who attended the concert was out of love for Giang Son, hoping that after the concert, the female musician would save up some money to... get married.
"To Ms. Son, I am like family. We are a close singer so we don't discuss the salary anymore, we just want Giang Son's wedding," Tung Duong said.
Musician Giang Son's real name is Ta Thi Giang Son, born in 1975. She is the youngest daughter of People's Teacher - musician Hoang Kieu and Cheo artist Bich Ngoc.
Giang Son has been exposed to music since the age of 6 and has a solid foundation, a master's degree in music. In 1998, Giang Son and singer Lan Huong founded the band Exotica.
In 1999, she won the Best Young Author award at the National Student Band Festival. At the end of 1999, Giang Son and Lan Huong founded the Du Ca band with 5 members, later changed to 5 Dong Ke.
In 2003, the group 5 Dong Ke released the album Em with most of the compositions by Giang Son.
In 2005, Giang Son released the publication Grass and Rain - 30 love songs of Giang Son, she left 5 Dong Ke to continue her work of composing, teaching and studying.
Giang Son's name made a breakthrough as a musician when the song Giac Mo Noon was voted Song of the Month . She won the Impressive Musician award at Bai Hat Viet 2005.
In 2007, Giang Son released his debut studio album Giang Son , which was nominated for the Dedication Award.
In 2010, Giang Son was the only female musician honored at the Music Path program produced by Vietnam Television.
In 2015, Giang Son made a breakthrough in her career when she collaborated with Ha Tran and Tung Duong to release the album Shadow of Jazz, a music album that helped the female musician win the Album of the Year award at the Dedication Awards.
In 2023, Giang Son released her third album Sing my Sol with songs composed and performed by herself.
Along with composing, Giang Son also holds the position of judge and coach in many competitions and music programs such as: Sao Mai rendezvous, Do re mi, Good singing voice of Hanoi, Hanoi singing voice, Best song, Amazing music, DJ stars...
Currently, Giang Son is a member of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Music Association, a member of the Vietnam Musicians Association, a member of the World Composers Association of the 21st Century (Composers 21) and works at the Vietnam Musicians Association.
