On the evening of July 14, at the East Bank Park of Dragon Bridge, Son Tra District, Da Nang City, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan Province held the opening ceremony of "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang" in 2024. Attending on the side of Ninh Thuan Province were comrades: Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments, branches and 7 districts and cities; Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; on the side of the leaders of Da Nang City, there was comrade Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches and a large number of people and tourists of Da Nang City.

In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Ninh Thuan is a province in the South Central Coast region, located in the national tourist cluster of the Da Lat - Nha Trang - Phan Rang tourist triangle, with a unique climate of little rain, much sunshine, and little affected by storms all year round. With a coastline of more than 105 km, diverse species of seafood, endowed by nature with rich resources, biodiversity and many famous landscapes; in which, Nui Chua National Park is recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve; Vinh Hy Bay is ranked as a national scenic relic, one of the 8 most beautiful bays in Vietnam; Cham pottery art was recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection... In order to achieve the goal of turning tourism into a spearhead economic sector by 2025 and truly a spearhead economic sector with sustainable development by 2030, Ninh Thuan prioritizes calling for investment projects in key tourism development areas in the North, South and the center of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City to form a system of hotels, commercial centers, entertainment complexes combined with resorts, accommodation, high-class coastal resorts; build and develop distinctive and attractive tourism products; at the same time, promote linkage and cooperation in tourism development with provinces and cities in the Central coastal region and provinces and cities nationwide. With the tradition of hospitality, friendliness and the aspiration to rise of the cadres and people, Ninh Thuan is willing to welcome and accompany tourism businesses, real estate investors at home and abroad. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee committed that investors will be given the most favorable conditions for sustainable development of tourism business activities, businesses to successfully implement their projects; coming to Ninh Thuan to invest, experience, visit and relax, businesses will feel that Ninh Thuan is truly a reliable, safe, friendly destination with many new development opportunities.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, provincial leaders, leaders of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, leaders of Da Nang City, delegates and a large number of people and tourists from Da Nang visited, directly experienced and enjoyed Cham dances, impressive and unique art performances of Ninh Thuan culture; culinary flavors, hometown specialties as well as many typical products of the province displayed at the event.

Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang in 2024 will take place from July 13 to July 15. Within the framework of the event, there will be many special activities such as: Performing singing and dancing; introducing musical instruments and exchanges; instructing traditional dances; instructing the art of making Bau Truc pottery, My Nghiep brocade weaving; displaying beautiful photos of tourism, culture, and scenic spots of Ninh Thuan province. In addition, the event also has 50 booths displaying and introducing OCOP products, typical products, typical rural industrial products, specialties and cuisine of Ninh Thuan province; especially booths displaying and introducing Bau Truc pottery products and My Nghiep brocade weaving; visitors will witness with their own eyes the talented and skillful hands of pottery and brocade artisans demonstrating the making of traditional products.
