
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Vu Van Cai, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Bat Xat district; leaders of Trinh Tuong commune, along with a large number of people and tourists from all over.



Trinh Tuong Temple is the place to worship the Holy Mother of the Upper Realm - the second Holy Mother in the Three Holy Mothers, who governs the music palace (governs the mountainous areas, guards the border). The temple was built in the early 20th century and was ranked as a provincial-level Historical - Cultural Relic in 2016. In recent years, Bat Xat district has mobilized many resources to restore and embellish the relic, while also managing festival activities well.
Trinh Tuong Temple Festival is held annually on the 10th day of the third lunar month to pray for national peace, people's safety, favorable weather, and good crops.

This year, Trinh Tuong Temple Festival is held at the district level, from April 4 to 7 (ie March 7 to 10 of the lunar calendar) with many meaningful and attractive activities.
The festival consists of two parts: the ceremony part is organized with traditional palanquin procession, festival opening, religious practices...; the festival part is rich with traditional sports, rice cake pounding contest, folk games...

The festival is solemnly organized, in accordance with the worship of the Holy Mother of the Upper Realm with traditional cultural values and attractive folk beliefs. Thereby contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional values, at the same time promoting and introducing to tourists the cultural values of spiritual tourism, historical and cultural relics, and scenic spots at the border of the Fatherland.
