To apply the digital map of business households from February 1, 2024, Ha Tinh Tax Department is promoting propaganda and dissemination of the purpose, meaning, and functions of the application to taxpayers.
For a long time, the disclosure of business household information has been done manually (posting paper copies at People's Committees, markets, tax offices, on local information pages...) and publicly on the tax industry's website.
The disclosure of business household information on the tax industry's website is currently in the form of a list, not yet presented visually, and does not support specific searches. In addition, the disclosure is organized by the locality, so the information is not updated on a centralized system, making it difficult to exploit.
To address these shortcomings, the General Department of Taxation has deployed the business household digital map function to support an additional form of displaying information that must be publicly disclosed by business households according to regulations.
Business household digital map deployed on eTax Mobile application
The business household digital map is a collection of information that has been encoded and stored in digital form. The displayed information is information that must be made public to business households according to regulations. In addition, the business household digital map will be deployed on the eTax Mobile application to facilitate business households, people, businesses, state management agencies and other organizations to look up and respond to information on handheld smart devices anytime, anywhere.
On that basis, the business household digital map is installed, managed and operated centrally at the General Department of Taxation. The information displayed on the business household digital map function is automatically, regularly and continuously updated from information approved by the tax authority and publicly posted on the tax department's website according to the tax management process for business households.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thuong - Head of the Department of Propaganda and Taxpayer Support (Ha Tinh Tax Department) said: "The digital map of business households plays an important role in supporting tax authorities in managing taxpayers in a visual way, grasping the area well, preventing missing households, and preventing budget losses. At the same time, the digital map of business households also better supports people, businesses, state management agencies and business households in providing feedback to tax authorities on the tax management of business households by local tax authorities, enhancing publicity and transparency in tax management".
According to the roadmap, in phase 1 from August 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, the General Department of Taxation will pilot the digital map of business households at 5 tax departments: Hanoi, Binh Dinh, Long An, Thanh Hoa, Hoa Binh. In phase 2 from February 1, 2024, the General Department of Taxation will deploy the digital map of business households for the remaining 58 tax departments nationwide.

To deploy the business household digital map, recently, the Ha Tinh Tax Department issued Official Letter No. 2911/CTHTI-HKDCN to units in the whole industry. At the branches, the tax sector is widely disseminating the purpose, meaning, and usage of the business household digital map function so that people, businesses, state management agencies, and business households can understand.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Thanh - Deputy Head of the Tax Department of Ha Tinh City - Cam Xuyen area said: "Currently, the unit has established 4 working groups to issue tax declarations and receive business household declarations in Ha Tinh City in 2024. During the process of issuing tax declarations and receiving business household declarations, the group will step up propaganda so that people know about the function of the business household digital map to be ready to apply from February 1, 2024".
Not only promoting the dissemination of the business household digital map, the tax sector also conducts training for tax officials on how to look up, review, and correct information displayed on the business household digital map function (if there is any discrepancy); receiving and processing feedback on the business household digital map function to effectively implement it, ensuring the correct principles and roadmap.
