The first private school in Hanoi announced the benchmark scores for grade 10.

According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khang - Chairman of the Marie Curie School Board, 42 points is the standard score for entering grade 10 for campus 1 (in My Dinh). Candidates registering at campus 1 will come to complete admission procedures on July 5.

If there are still vacancies, the school will continue to enroll students in the second round at this facility with a standard score of 40 points. Candidates will complete admission procedures on July 6.

At Marie Curie School's second campus (in Van Phu), the benchmark score for the first round was 38 points, and for the second round it was 36 points. Previously, the school had announced its expected enrollment plan, but because the Department of Education and Training announced the exam scores and benchmark scores for public schools earlier, the school also adjusted the schedule for announcing benchmark scores and enrollment.

Some private and autonomous public schools in Hanoi that parents are interested in are also planning to announce the threshold score for receiving applications based on exam scores, or announce the standard score in the next 1-2 days.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Tung - Principal of Lomonoxop Inter-level High School, in the 2024-2025 school year, the school was assigned 450 quotas and recruited 370 quotas by considering academic records, leaving only 80 quotas for recruitment by considering exam scores.

Mr. Tung said that the school has started accepting online registrations, but has to wait for public schools to announce their benchmark scores, after which many candidates who fail public schools will have the next choice of going to private schools.

Therefore, the exact admission score will be known around 4pm on July 3rd. The school will base it on the number of registered candidates and will consider from top to bottom until the quota is filled.

This year, Phan Huy Chu High School - Dong Da (Hanoi) also chose the same admission method as Lomonoxop School, accepting applications for admission through online registration and considering from top to bottom until the quota is filled.
