The Central Committee approved the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province.

Reporting on the preparations for the congress, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has actively and proactively followed up on implementing Directive No. 22 dated May 25, 2023 of the Secretariat on leading the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (term 2024 - 2029).

The 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province is scheduled to take place on August 27-28, 2024 at the Provincial Convention Center with 500 delegates (including 303 official delegates and 197 invited delegates).

Units from the province to the grassroots level have launched and accepted 280 works and tasks to welcome the congress with a total cost of more than 65 billion VND; in which the provincial level implemented the model "Green garden - beautiful house - beautiful alley" in Linh Cang village, Binh Phu commune (Thang Binh district) with a cost of nearly 370 million VND.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Huu Dung highly appreciated the preparations for the congress of Quang Nam province. The draft political report closely followed the instructions of superiors and the actual situation of the locality; clearly identified the direction, goals, targets, breakthroughs, and action program for the 2024-2029 term.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung also suggested that the content of the documents submitted to the congress should demonstrate the spirit of gathering, building and promoting the strength of great national unity; practicing democracy, enhancing social consensus; representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; implementing social supervision and criticism and building an increasingly clean and strong Party and State.

In addition, the content of the document also needs to closely follow Resolution No. 43 dated November 24, 2023 of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy.

Regarding the personnel plan, the Central Committee proposed to effectively implement the motto of mobilizing the active contributions of each member to promote the effectiveness of the Front's work in the coming time.
