On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (1945-2024); welcoming the founding day of Party committees and Party Committee offices, this morning, August 29, the Emulation Bloc of Quang Tri provincial Party agencies solemnly held a ceremony to pay tribute, offer incense and flowers to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the national martyrs' cemeteries (LSQG) Truong Son, Road 9 and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, and the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Duan. In a solemn and respectful atmosphere at the two Truong Son National Cemetery and Road 9 Cemetery, the delegation of leaders and officials of the Emulation Bloc of the Party agencies laid wreaths and offered incense at the memorials to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed their lives in the two resistance wars for independence and freedom for the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. After the incense offering ceremony at the memorials, the delegation burned incense at the graves, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs.

Organizing a ceremony to pay respects, offer flowers and incense at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Memorial, the delegation of the Emulation Bloc of Party agencies expressed gratitude and commemorated the heroic martyrs who fell in the 81-day and night campaign to protect the Ancient Citadel.
Quang Tri Ancient Citadel has recorded in the history of the nation a shining milestone of revolutionary heroism through the brave and resilient fight to protect the Ancient Citadel and Quang Tri town in the fiery summer of 1972 by our army and people, contributing significantly to the victory of the struggle for national liberation and reunification.

At the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Duan, the delegation offered flowers and incense and expressed gratitude and respect to General Secretary Le Duan, the outstanding leader of the Party, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, and an excellent son of Quang Tri who made many important contributions to the cause of liberating the South and unifying the country.

* Previously, at Quang Tri Newspaper, the Emulation Bloc of Party agencies organized the awarding of 15 gifts, each worth 1.2 million VND (including 1 million VND in cash and gifts) to people in special circumstances, such as lonely elderly people, orphans with no place to rely on, people who have had accidents, serious illnesses and are unable to work, have exhausted their economy and therefore need the attention of society to make a living.

Mr. Le Xuan Tuyen (born in 1985), in Hoa Phu hamlet, Ho Xa town, Vinh Linh district, emotionally said: “Since I was diagnosed with transverse myelitis in 2007, my life has encountered countless difficulties. I have tried very hard to overcome the sadness of a broken family and the pain caused by illness to make a living. Receiving this meaningful gift, I am very happy and would like to send my most sincere thanks to the Emulation Bloc of Party agencies. Also at the gift-giving program of the Emulation Bloc of provincial agencies, Quang Tri Newspaper combined to give nearly 13 million VND from benefactors to directly support the cases published in Quang Tri Newspaper at the weekend to call for community support.
