On the afternoon of October 2, in Ha Hoa district, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Tuoi Tre Newspaper to organize the scholarship program "Preventing school dropouts for students affected by storm No. 3 - 2024" for 107 students and teachers in difficult circumstances, affected by natural disasters in Phu Tho province.
The Provincial Youth Union awarded the scholarship "Preventing dropouts for students affected by storm No. 3 - 2024" to students in 3 districts of Ha Hoa, Doan Hung, Yen Lap.
Last September, Phu Tho province suffered from storm No. 3 causing rain, landslides and floods exceeding historical milestones, causing heavy damage to people and property, affecting the teaching and learning of many teachers and students in the province.
At the program, leaders of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union, and leaders of Ha Hoa district awarded 100 scholarships, each worth 3 million VND, and 7 support scholarships, each worth 5 million VND, with a total value of 335 million VND to students and teachers of the 3 districts of Ha Hoa, Yen Lap, and Doan Hung.
107 students and teachers with difficult circumstances from the three districts of Ha Hoa, Doan Hung, and Cam Khe received scholarships from the program "Preventing school dropouts for students affected by storm No. 3 - 2024".
Also at the program, representatives of sponsors LOF International Milk and Thien Long Group presented students with 100 cartons of milk, 100 backpacks and 100 sets of school supplies to encourage and share the difficulties and losses caused by storm No. 3, helping them stabilize their studies.
