Students and current questions

The 2025 Exam Season Consulting Program, organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, is taking place in many provinces and cities in the context of life with many changes and huge movements. From the rapid development of technology to the innovations and fluctuations of society, 12th grade students are not outside this flow and are always ready to join in with innovation. One of these manifestations is the questions and concerns that students send to the consulting board in the program, which are quite thorny, "hot" news, full of worries and concerns.

In most provinces and cities where the program has been, the question that students often ask is how the strong development of artificial intelligence (AI) will affect human jobs in the future. From fields such as engineering, technology, to society, students always wonder whether the professions they are looking to study will be replaced by AI in the future? In the program held in Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh) last weekend, a student said: "I see that in the US, Japan..., the education sector has introduced robots into teaching. Although AI is a very effective support tool not only for teachers but also for all other professions, I am also worried that if AI develops more and more, will teachers still have the opportunity to teach?" This is really not only a concern of students but also a problem that needs to be solved in the coming period when technology changes every day.

Current issues, policy changes... are also of strong interest to students and are closely followed. The Exam Season Consulting Program took place in Hue City one day after the Politburo unanimously decided to exempt all tuition fees for students from kindergarten to high school nationwide, starting from the beginning of the new school year 2025 - 2026. So a student raised the issue: Are teachers affected when Circular 29 recently came out regulating extra teaching and learning; now there is an additional policy of exempting all tuition fees for students? Similarly, a student frankly asked if the education sector can guarantee 100% employment when students are exempted from tuition fees and have preferential policies?...

If students fully cite documents related to streamlining the apparatus, stopping civil servant recruitment exams and appointing officials... how will it affect future work?

Many students wonder how schools adapt to changes in new technology industries to meet the human resource needs of society...

For any unclear issues, students are explained by experts to better understand the policies and guidelines so that they can study with peace of mind and choose a suitable career. However, many of the students' questions also raise concerns, thoughts, and worries for educators. And also from the issues raised by final year students, schools must outline a roadmap for change from training to management to be suitable.

Having implemented the Exam Season Consulting program for many years, we have noticed a clear change in the way students ask questions. They are not just asking small questions, but they are also looking at bigger issues, looking for clear answers, thereby preparing and orienting their own careers.

It's a big change for a generation of students immersed in technology, adapting to the rapid changes of the times.
