On the afternoon of November 11, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee held the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the Lam Dong Youth Online Competition with Traffic Safety in 2024.

Attending the program were Ms. Tran Diep My Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union Council; representatives of the Traffic Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police and union members and young people who won prizes at the contest.
The Lam Dong Youth Online Competition on Traffic Safety is an activity to respond to Traffic Safety Month 2024 and the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (November 9). At the same time, it raises awareness and responsibility of union members and young people in the area in ensuring traffic order and safety. The competition is accompanied by Petrolimex Lam Dong Petroleum Company.

The contest took place from September 23 to October 20 with 4 weeks of competition. During the implementation period, the contest had 116,337 participants. The Youth Union - Association - Team chapters across the province actively directed, motivated, encouraged, and created conditions for cadres, union members, and young people to participate effectively. Some units had a high number of participants such as Da Lat city with 37,638 participants, Bao Loc city with 23,544 participants.

The contest is organized online with a convenient and user-friendly interface, demonstrating innovation in the work of propaganda, dissemination and legal education; flexible means of use, creating convenience for participants; meeting the policy of increasing the application of information technology, digital transformation in the activities of the Youth Union - Association - Team. The design of questions and answers has content suitable for the majority of contestants participating in the contest, the question situations are common violations that occur in daily life.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Tran Diep My Dung affirmed: The contest has contributed to raising awareness and consciousness of traffic participation among the young generation; creating a strong change in compliance with legal regulations on traffic safety, contributing to building a culture of traffic participation, building awareness of "Living, studying, working according to the Constitution and the law".

At the Closing Ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee awarded 2 collective prizes to Da Lat City Youth Union and Bao Loc City Youth Union for having the highest number of participants; awarded 44 individual prizes with 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 5 Encouragement prizes each week to individuals with outstanding achievements.
