Presenting 122 Tet gifts to disadvantaged women in Lia area

This morning, January 15, in Lia commune, Huong Hoa district, the Women's Union of Quang Tri province organized the program "Loving Tet - Spring At Ty 2025", giving gifts to poor women members in difficult circumstances in A Doi and Lia communes.

At the program, the organizers presented 122 Tet gifts, including 20 for women in A Doi commune, 90 for women in Lia commune and 12 for female cadres in the two communes. Each gift included essential necessities for Tet worth 400,000 VND, the total value of the gifts was nearly 49 million VND.

Within the framework of the program, the Provincial Women's Union also awarded the model "Safe village for women and children" in Lia commune, worth 10 million VND.

Moved to receive the gift from the program, Ms. Ho Thi Kham, in A Xoi Hang village, Lia commune, said: “I am very grateful to receive the meaningful gift from the Provincial Women's Union. This gift will help make my family's upcoming Tet more complete.”

On the same day, the Provincial Women's Union also visited and presented 10 gifts, each worth 400,000 VND, to orphans and disadvantaged children in Dakrong district. These are practical gifts, contributing to motivating the children to overcome difficulties and strive to study well.

As part of the program series "Loving Tet - Spring At Ty 2025", previously, the Provincial Women's Union presented 50 gifts to disadvantaged female members in 3 communes of Vinh O, Vinh Khe, Vinh Ha, Vinh Linh district.
