solemn 55th death anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh

On August 24 (July 21, Giap Thin year), with utmost respect and gratitude for the great contributions of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Nghe An province and Nam Dan district solemnly held the 55th death anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (1969 - 2024).

Before that, the Organizing Committee performed traditional rituals such as: Opening Ceremony, Announcement Ceremony, Great Sacrifice Ceremony and Thanksgiving Ceremony; organized flower and incense offering at the Tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, Hoang Xuan Family Temple in the maternal hometown, Chung Son Temple, Nguyen Sinh Family Tomb in the paternal hometown, the tombs of Uncle Ho's family members and relics in the paternal hometown... to welcome the gods, ancestors and Uncle Ho's spirit to attend the death anniversary ceremony according to traditional customs.

Organizing his death anniversary is also an opportunity to learn together and review his great contributions to the homeland and country to better carry out his sacred Testament.

Realizing his wishes, over the past 55 years, the Party Committee and People of Nghe An province in general and Nam Dan district in particular have made unceasing efforts to implement Uncle Ho's Testament. Promoting the strength of great solidarity, striving to overcome all difficulties, enthusiastically participating in contributing human and material resources to the resistance war against foreign invaders, protecting and building the country, actively innovating and building the homeland...

55 years ago, at 9:47 a.m. on September 2, 1969, our beloved Uncle Ho passed away. The Vietnamese people lost an outstanding Communist soldier who fought tirelessly for the revolutionary movement all his life. His passing left behind endless sorrow for the entire Party, the entire people and friends around the world...

On the occasion of Uncle Ho's death anniversary, people from all over the country returned to Kim Lien relic site to offer him fresh flowers.

Today's young generation is always determined to study and follow the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh, always living, working and contributing to build the country according to his wishes and trust in the young generation of the country.
