Ho Chi Minh City awarded Excellent Digital Government Award

The ASOCIO 2023 Award for Outstanding Digital Government category just awarded continues to recognize the efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City government in forming a truly people- and business-centered government.

At the ASOCIO 2023 Awards Ceremony held within the framework of the 2023 Digital Technology Summit (ASOCIO) held in Seoul (Korea), Ho Chi Minh City was awarded the ASOCIO 2023 Award for Outstanding Digital Government by the Asia-Oceania Computing Industry Organization. On behalf of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications Vo Thi Trung Trinh received this award.

This year, the ASOCIO awards were selected to present to 52 outstanding units, organizations and enterprises in 8 categories, including: Outstanding Technology Enterprise, Outstanding Digital Government, Outstanding Digital Transformation, EdTech, HealthTech, Information Security, Public, Social and Environmental Management (ESG) and Startup.

According to the results of the DTI digital transformation index ranking over the past 3 years conducted by the Ministry of Information and Communications, Ho Chi Minh City has always been in the top localities, from 5th place in 2020 to 3rd place in 2021 and rising to 2nd place in 2022. The ASOCIO 2023 Award for Outstanding Digital Government category just awarded continues to recognize the efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City government in forming a truly people- and business-centered government.
