Tay Ninh City: Implementing local defense work well

Attending the conference were Mr. Pham Trung Chanh - Chairman of the City People's Committee, leaders of departments, offices, specialized agencies of the City and the People's Committees, Military Commands of wards and communes in the area.

At the working session, the delegation inspected the implementation results of Decree 168/2018/ND-CP dated December 28, 2018 of the Government on local defense work for departments, offices, specialized agencies of the City and the People's Committees and Military Commands of wards and communes.

Accordingly, from 2022 to present, the city's local defense work has had many positive changes and achieved many positive results. Notably, the quality of socio-economic development associated with defense and security planning in the city has been increasingly improved and deepened.

Total production value reached more than 70%, an increase of more than 15% over the same period; well organized military handover and reception ceremonies in 2022 and 2023, reaching 100% of targets at 2 levels; organized national defense and security knowledge training classes for subjects 4, organized registration for admission to military academies and schools in accordance with regulations and achieved high results.

Maintain on-duty regime and regularly organize drills to improve combat readiness. Pay attention to and take care of the staff and soldiers of the armed forces, carry out well the rear policy work and resolve policies for the subjects in accordance with regulations.

Through the working session, we aim to promptly overcome shortcomings and problems; thereby contributing to making the local defense work of the City increasingly orderly and highly effective.
