Movement of All people unite to build cultural life: 97 collectives, families and individuals were awarded

Mr. Nguyen Nam Giang - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Standing Member of the Provincial Steering Committee, gave a speech summarizing the movement.

In 2024, more than 90% of hamlets and neighborhoods will maintain the title of cultural family; more than 99% of families will maintain the title of cultural family; 85% of grassroots cultural institutions will operate effectively; over 86% of wards and towns will meet civilized urban standards.

The province currently has 86/94 communes, wards and towns with models for preventing and combating domestic violence; 452 sustainable family development clubs; 425 groups for preventing and combating domestic violence; and 274 trusted addresses in the community.

Implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province mobilized over 14,000 working days and 5.4 billion VND, renovated over 50km of rural roads, and concreted roads worth over 10 billion VND. The Fund for the Poor mobilized over 33.4 billion VND (reaching 233% of the target), and built 314 new solidarity houses worth over 28.4 billion VND.

The Provincial Labor Federation, which presided over the construction of “Culturally Standard Agencies, Units, and Enterprises”, presented gifts to over 219,000 union members, officials, workers, employees, and their families, worth over 65 billion VND; supported revolving capital of 8.75 billion VND for workers, employees, and laborers in difficult circumstances.

Other activities such as "Union Meals", supporting Agent Orange victims, and donating 21 Union Shelter houses to union members have shared and helped many difficult lives.

Collectives received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee.

The Provincial Women's Union at all levels has carried out the Campaign with practical actions such as donating 46 Charity Homes, awarding over 3,200 scholarships, connecting to support women in starting businesses, donating 22 breeding cows... with a total amount of over 18 billion VND.

The Provincial Military Command deployed the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" combined with major military movements such as "Good training, high combat readiness", "Building new socialist people", "Party members guide the masses".

The provincial police launched the movement “Building the style of a brave, humane People’s Police officer serving the people”. Border posts coordinated with the People’s Committees of border communes to propagate the Party’s guidelines, legal policies and build “Border Cultural Highlights”.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded 55 collectives, 17 families, and 25 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the movement of All people uniting to build cultural life and family work in the province in 2024.
