Summary of 10 years of implementing Directive No. 39-CT/TW of the Politburo

On May 23, the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review 10 years of implementing Directive No. 39-CT/TW of the Politburo on strengthening internal political protection in the current situation. Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended and chaired the conference. Also attending were Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Provincial Party Committee members and leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities.

The conference discussed in a frank spirit, honestly, objectively and comprehensively assessing the results achieved over 10 years of leadership, direction, organization, dissemination and concretization of the implementation of Directive 39 and related Party documents. Notably, Party committees and organizations at all levels in the entire Provincial Party Committee have paid attention to leading, directing and organizing the implementation seriously and responsibly, achieving a number of important results from the stages of organizing study, dissemination and propaganda; concretizing into regulations, statutes and plans; linking the implementation of Directive 39 with the work of fighting, preventing and repelling manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within cadres and Party members; protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; The work of reviewing, assessing, examining, verifying, and concluding political standards has been carried out strictly, seriously, and in accordance with regulations... which has made an important contribution to the work of Party building and rectification. Pointing out the limitations in implementing internal political protection work in conjunction with the work of fighting, preventing, and repelling signs of degradation of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party and the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against and refuting wrong and hostile viewpoints in the past time, the conference also discussed, drew out causes, lessons learned, proposed solutions, and identified key tasks for internal political protection work in the coming time.

Concluding the conference, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the work of protecting internal politics is identified by our Party as an important part of the work of Party building and political system building; it plays an important role and significance for the survival of the Party and the regime; it is the responsibility of the entire political system, first of all the Party committees, Party organizations and all cadres and Party members. Through the work of protecting internal politics, it aims to build and rectify the Party to become increasingly clean and strong. Therefore, in order to do better in the work of protecting internal politics in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that Party committees at all levels and the entire Provincial Party Committee continue to thoroughly grasp Directive 39 in conjunction with Resolution 4 of the Central Committee on strengthening Party building and rectification; strengthen political and ideological education, awareness and strict management of cadres and Party members; ensure strictness and correctness in the implementation of internal political work; Be cautious, objective, and comprehensive in evaluating cadres and party members; proactively grasp the situation, immediately rectify manifestations that cause internal disunity; strictly handle cadres and party members who violate the law. In addition, strengthen inspection, supervision, and protection of state secrets; effectively coordinate with relevant agencies in internal political protection work; advise on perfecting the organizational apparatus, ensuring conditions for political protection work to be carried out well in the current situation.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Secretary quickly announced the results of the 9th Central Conference, Session XIII, held in Hanoi from May 16 to May 18, to help leaders and key officials at all levels grasp the core contents of the conference, serving as a basis for propaganda for officials, party members and people, and at the same time implementing the resolution into life.
