Northern Power Corporation hopes to have the cooperation and sharing of departments, branches and localities.

Attending the conference in Thanh Hoa province (central bridge) were representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; leaders of Vietnam Electricity Group; Northern Power Corporation. Representatives of provincial leaders and departments and branches of 27 northern provinces and cities attended online via bridge points at the headquarters of Power Companies under EVNNPC.

Also attending were comrades: Le Tien Tri - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board; Pham Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Department of Education and Training.

The 2024 Customer Conference is an opportunity for the Northern Power Corporation to meet with local government leaders, major customers, and partners in 27 northern provinces and cities. The conference is also an opportunity for the Northern Power Corporation and local authorities at all levels and partners to share difficulties, strengthen relationships, support, and expand long-term cooperation for the common development of the entire region.

At the conference, the leaders of the Northern Power Corporation introduced the unit's electricity services and customer care channels. In parallel, the Northern Power Corporation also provided advice on the economical and efficient use of electricity, while also warning about issues related to the power grid infrastructure, power consumption during peak hot weather, and encouraging customers to actively participate in the load adjustment program.

Entering 2024, hot weather will come early and is forecast to be more extreme, electricity consumption for daily life will increase dramatically, especially during peak hours. On the other hand, the situation of mobilizing power sources will face many difficulties due to political instability in the world. The Northern Power Corporation predicts that there is a risk of peak capacity shortage during peak hours, especially on extremely hot days from April to August 2024.

In 2023, the Northern Power Corporation sold electricity to 11.205 million customers, commercial electricity reached 90.58 billion kWh with electricity production revenue of 167,831.35 billion VND. The entire Corporation has 4,441 communes with national grid electricity reaching 100%, with 8,082,776 / 8,131,016 rural households having electricity, reaching 99.4%. The non-commercial load adjustment program was also actively implemented, the entire Corporation signed 3,906 / 3,993 customers to participate in DR agreements, reaching 97.82%, implementing 19,113 customers participating in load adjustment events, total capacity reduction of 6,254 MW.

Committed to customers, the Northern Power Corporation promises to make maximum efforts and mobilize all resources to prepare for sufficient electricity supply in 2024 and the following years. However, in order to be proactive and respond promptly to all possible situations, the Northern Power Corporation hopes to receive the attention and sharing of customers, the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam Electricity Group, leaders of provinces and cities, and the support of departments, branches, sectors, and local socio-political organizations.

At the Conference, the Northern Power Corporation honored 70 customers who are typical enterprises in adjusting electricity load and 30 customers who are typical administrative agencies using the State budget in using electricity economically and effectively.
