Viet Anh is a famous actor on the small screen in the North. He is often assigned the role of a playboy or an economic criminal. When mentioning Viet Anh, the audience will immediately remember the films: Running from the Case, Judge, Life and Death, Crocodile Profile...
Because he appears in so many criminal roles, Viet Anh is called "the actor who specializes in playing criminals" or "the actor who plays the most criminals on the small screen". However, in the new film project called The War Without Borders, Viet Anh will completely "transform".
Viet Anh shares about his new role in "War Without Borders".
Sharing at the film's premiere, the actor said that recently he has been determined to refuse prison roles: "The role of police chief Trung is a new step that I had to put a lot of effort into conquering.
Fortunately, since Doan Quoc Dam appeared, he has emerged as a "golden face in the prison village", and Viet Anh's load has also been greatly reduced. From then on, I also made it very clear to the film crew: "If you play a prisoner, don't call me."
That's why in the last few films I've been able to be a decent person. With the role of Trung in War Without Borders, he is an extremely decent person, clearly portraying the image of a soldier in the Vietnam People's Army."

The actor revealed that to portray the character of Chief Trung in the film War Without Borders , he and director Nguyen Danh Dung had to argue with each other many times:
"Playing the role of Trung, the station chief, was a huge challenge for me. For everyday roles, we can embellish the character. But for the image of a soldier in the Vietnam People's Army, especially a commander, it is very difficult.
Director Danh Dung and I have argued many times, and sometimes we couldn't find a common voice in how to build this character. But fortunately, we were able to agree on our point of view when portraying the character Trung."
This role made Viet Anh worry a lot.
