Vietnam has many opportunities to expand and improve its defense industry. The products and technologies displayed at the exhibition demonstrate the strong development of Vietnam's defense industry.
Regarding defense cooperation, the Ambassador said that France is one of the leading military export powers. France and its defense enterprises are ready to cooperate with Vietnam in production and technology transfer.

The presence of French defense businesses and government agencies at the event is not only to execute contracts, but Paris also wants to further strengthen and consolidate the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Vietnam.
The two countries upgraded their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during General Secretary To Lam's visit to France in October. Mr. Olivier Brochet said that French businesses want to contribute to strengthening this relationship, not only by bringing modern products and technologies to the exhibition but also by supporting Vietnam in enhancing its defense industry capacity.
In addition, the two countries have many potential areas of cooperation such as aviation, high-speed trains, innovation, higher education, research and development, etc. in which France is actively working with Vietnamese partners.
