Implementing Directive No. 20/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on enhancing electricity saving in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years, in the first 6 months of 2024, the total electricity saving output of the whole Corporation was 1,089 billion kWh, equal to 2.3% of the total output with commercial products.
The Corporation's electricity loss in the first 6 months of 2024 was 3.92%, down 1.15% over the same period in 2023 and 0.18% lower than the plan assigned by EVN.
The Corporation has also started 21 projects and energized 50 110 kV projects in the first months of the year.
Forecasting that there will still be many hot days in July and August, the Corporation continues to call on and encourage customers to use electricity economically and reasonably through many practical actions such as: Always maintain reasonable use of air conditioning, only turn on the air conditioner when really necessary, set the temperature at 26-27 degrees Celsius or higher; do not use many high-capacity electrical devices at the same time during peak hours; invest in and use high-performance electronic and refrigeration devices, save electricity, and protect the environment.
Units within the entire EVNNPC are also required to be proactive in technical management and operation, focusing on implementing measures such as: Accelerating medium-voltage investment projects to share the load for transformers carrying high loads; energizing key projects; continuing to implement the project to improve the operational capacity of 110 kV transformer stations; strengthening control of grid work to be carried out according to plan, ensuring progress and quality to reduce power loss; strengthening operational management to reduce grid incidents.
