On the afternoon of September 27, in Senmonorum City, the Steering Committee 515 of Dak Lak Province (Vietnam) and the Specialized Committee of Mondulkiri Province (Cambodia) held a meeting on the implementation of the plan to search for, collect, and repatriate the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Cambodia (dry season 2023 - 2024).
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of Steering Committee 515 of Dak Lak province H'Yim Kđoh and Deputy Governor, Deputy Head of the Specialized Committee of Mondulkiri province Win Si Thuôn co-chaired the meeting.

According to the assessment of the coordination work of the two Task Forces, in the dry season of 2022 - 2023, the work of searching, collecting, and repatriating the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Cambodia achieved many remarkable results.
The two sides have closely coordinated, exchanged information, grasped the situation, promptly resolved arising problems, and created favorable conditions for Team K51 of Dak Lak province to carry out its tasks. Thanks to the attention and support of the local government, armed forces and people of Cambodia, in the dry season of 2022 - 2023, Team K51 of Dak Lak province collected 22 martyrs' remains; solemnly and thoughtfully organized the handover ceremony and brought them to Dak Lak province for memorial service and burial.
Ms. Win Si Thuon assessed: The two Task Forces have done a good job of cooperation, building a traditional relationship of friendship, showing deep respect and gratitude to the heroic martyrs. The noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs of Vietnam during the war in Cambodia have always received the efforts, focused and enthusiastic support of the government, Task Force, armed forces and people of Mondulkiri province.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh affirmed that in the process of performing their tasks, the Provincial Steering Committee 515 and Team K51 of Dak Lak province will continue to maintain good relations, maximize cooperation and support from the government, all levels and sectors of Mondulkiri province; strictly comply with the laws of the State of Cambodia, respect customs, practices and regulations in international relations.
Dak Lak Province's Steering Committee 515 hopes that Mondulkiri Province will continue to widely propagate to the people in the villages, hamlets, landowners, and forest owners to actively participate, discover, and provide information about the graves of Vietnamese martyrs; create favorable conditions in handling procedures, and send forces to support Dak Lak Province's K51 Team to survey, search, and collect martyrs' remains...
As planned, Team K51 of Dak Lak province will depart for its mission on October 18, 2023 and end on May 31, 2024, after which the farewell ceremony, handover, and reception of martyrs' remains will be held according to prescribed procedures.
