On the 4th anniversary of its establishment (October 21, 2020 - October 21, 2024), Ngoc An Center for Research and Application of Psychology and Education has continuously received good news with prestigious individual and collective awards; bringing the Ngoc An brand to continue to improve and reach further.
In recent days, Ngoc An Center for Research and Application of Psychology and Education has been covered by many prestigious media outlets of the Central, Hanoi and localities on the occasion of a special event: Ms. Dao Thanh Hoan - Founder of the Center was awarded the noble title "Outstanding Citizen of the Capital" in 2024. The title is both an honor and a recognition for her tireless efforts in devoting all her heart and love to the mission of caring for, educating and developing autistic children and people with disabilities in the capital Hanoi.
In early September 2024, the Center was honored to receive the Golden Star Award for Dat Viet Brand. To win this award, the units not only achieved good business performance but also made positive contributions to the fields of society, environment and sustainable development.
Ngoc An also won the award "Top 10 most trusted brands in Asia 2024" in the award category of the program "Asia Top Brand Award" in 2024, evaluated and selected based on international quality standards for businesses with prestigious brands, leading the industry with high quality products and services, building a sustainable brand number 1 in the Vietnamese and Asian markets.
For Ngoc An, the above awards are truly worthy because since its establishment, the Center has identified the important mission of supporting and providing comprehensive educational services for autistic children and people with disabilities. Ngoc An aims to build a friendly and safe learning environment, where children are not only cared for educationally but also develop social skills and independence.
The center applies advanced, personalized educational methods based on the individual needs of each student. With a team of highly qualified teachers and experts, Ngoc An has successfully helped many autistic children and people with disabilities progress and integrate into society, bringing hope to families.
What makes Ngoc An Center successful is its commitment to providing high-quality educational services and a strong sense of social responsibility. The Center always strives to ensure that every autistic child or disabled person who comes here has access to the best education, suitable for each child's individual needs and abilities. The dedication and creativity in developing intervention education programs, social skills, and individual career guidance experiments have helped Ngoc An become a bright spot in the field of special education in Hanoi and the whole country.
At the end of August 2024, with the project "Producing green rice cakes", Ngoc An Center was honored with the second prize at the contest "Women's creative start-up for green transformation 2024". For the team participating in the project, the award affirms the persistent and unyielding efforts of both Ngoc An's teachers and students; at the same time, it reminds and urges Ngoc An to constantly strive to improve and expand the project to bring more value to society and people with disabilities.
Ngoc An is the destination for many interns, students, and university students who want to learn about special education models; among them is Nguyen Le Nhat Minh, an 11th grade student at St. Joseph's Institution International, Singapore. During the process of learning and practicing at the Center, he was very passionate about the Project "Building a sensory room with math and music education for autistic children". With his intelligence, understanding, and compassion, he excellently won the 2024 Sesame Scholarship with the amount of 24 million VND. It was even more wonderful when he decided to give all of this scholarship to Ngoc An Center to carry out the above humanitarian project.
In addition, the Center regularly welcomes domestic and international delegations to visit and learn about the model; actively participates in seminars, charity activities, supports families in difficult circumstances and contributes to social programs to raise awareness of education for autistic children and people with disabilities. With comprehensive efforts, the Center has built prestige and trust with domestic and foreign organizations; becoming one of 16 representative facilities nationwide where the Vietnam Children's Fund conducts seminars and collects opinions on career guidance and vocational training models for children with disabilities.
In early October 2024, the volunteer group of Ngoc An Center coordinated with Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper and other benefactors to visit Hang Tay Kindergarten in Che Tao Commune and Nam Bung Primary Boarding School in Mu Cang Chai District, Yen Bai Province. With the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other", the group donated books, clothes, and necessities to students and the school.
In order to honor the values and achievements that Ngoc An Center has achieved in the past 4 years, and at the same time encourage the Center's staff to express their feelings, ideas and visions about the Center's development in the coming years, at the writing contest "To the future Ngoc An", the Organizing Committee received nearly 20 articles, shares and a lot of affection from teachers - those who are striving to contribute and build Ngoc An to develop and reach far.
Calling Ngoc An “A home that lights up dreams and opens up a bright future”, Ms. Ta Thi Thuy, Ngoc An Center - Facility 1, wrapped up her emotions in the letter. She emotionally said: “Over the years, Ngoc An has become a second home for many disabled students. The center not only provides specialized education, where each student has their own learning plan, but also applies vocational training models. I hope that in the future, Ngoc An will continue to promote these core values, becoming a comprehensive and advanced special education model not only at 5 facilities but also spreading to many other areas. I also hope that Ngoc An will always maintain a close-knit community - where all those who have been there and have been attached will always feel like they are part of the family; so that no matter how far we go, we will always remember each other, always support each other in life…”.
For Ms. Nguyen Thi Mong Tho, facility 3 (Hai Lang - Quang Tri), Ngoc An is an individual among hundreds of centers specializing in intervention and support for autistic and disabled children, but is a special group, united by teachers who share the same love and enthusiasm for autistic and disabled children.
“In the near future, Ngoc An will be a leader in the care, support, intervention and career guidance for autistic and disabled children in the region and the whole country. Ngoc An will be a colorful picture, painted by the teachers and students here; by the brands and awards that Ngoc An has achieved and the culture that Ngoc An has worked hard to build…”, Ms. Mong Tho shared. She also expressed her determination: “I will strive, try to learn, improve my knowledge and experience, become a knowledgeable officer to be able to support and approach autistic children in the right direction. I hope that one day in the near future, my colleagues at the 3rd facility (Hai Lang - Quang Tri) and I will have the opportunity to come to the main facility of the Center to learn new and creative career guidance models and help many children in my hometown”.
Wishing Ngoc An in the future, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Oanh, Head of Facility 5 - Thien Ngoc Vocational Training Workshop, envisions Ngoc An in 2030. At that time, Thien Ngoc workshop will certainly be spacious with full modern machinery, such as: laser cutting machine, 3D printer, dough mixer, dryer and systematic production processes. The center also builds additional specialized medical support treatment rooms - where students are taken care of both physically and mentally. These things demonstrate the remarkable progress of the Center; creating good conditions for students' learning, production and career guidance; helping them to be steadfast and confident to overcome difficulties in life.
Mr. Do Van Dat, Thien Ngoc Vocational Training Workshop, is a visually impaired person. In his third year working at Ngoc An, he went from being a student to an employee of the workshop. With the spirit of compassion learned from his teachers, he is always enthusiastic in guiding new students and people in similar situations. “Although I have encountered many difficulties, I still try to overcome them, make efforts to learn to make artistic oan products and handmade offerings. I dream of being associated with Ngoc An Center for a long time or forever,” Mr. Dat expressed.
Sharing his feelings about the achievements that Ngoc An Center has achieved individually and collectively over the past 4 years, Founder Dao Thanh Hoan feels happy and grateful, because those achievements are the result of the efforts and constant dedication of the Center's collective, with the support of all levels and sectors, along with the spirit of effort and support of students, teachers and parents.
“To reach new heights, Ngoc An has registered the copyright for the Oan Nghe Thuat product and is preparing to put the product on the e-commerce platform as well as register the OCOP product. In the near future, Ngoc An's main facility and Thien Ngoc Vocational Training Workshop will move to a new, spacious and modern location. The center will continue to expand its operations, strengthen cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations to improve the quality of education, and create more opportunities for autistic children and people with disabilities. The center will also participate in community activities, contributing to building a humane society where all autistic children and people with disabilities have the opportunity to develop comprehensively and sustainably,” said Ms. Dao Thanh Hoan.
