15 Tay Ninh people who were tricked and sold to Cambodia for "light work with high salary" were returned to Vietnam by Cambodia.

On the afternoon of March 12, the Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard coordinated with relevant agencies to receive 15 Vietnamese citizens handed over by Cambodia at the Moc Bai International Border Gate. These people were said to have been taken to Cambodia by fraudsters for forced labor.

According to the representative of the Moc Bai International Border Gate Border Guard Station, the 15 Vietnamese workers are now aged between 18 and 30. Of these, only 10 have passports, the rest have no identification papers. These are the workers detained at the Detention Center under the Cambodian Immigration Department, where the Vietnamese Embassy works.

While waiting for verification, the Vietnamese Embassy requests that Cambodian authorities ensure the livelihood of these 15 people and promptly coordinate to complete supporting documents to return them to Vietnam.

After receiving them, Tay Ninh Border Guard and related units verified their identities and completed procedures to bring the citizens back to their hometowns.

Recently, at the border gates with Cambodia in Tay Ninh, Long An, An Giang, the Border Guard continuously received citizens and workers rescued from fraudulent companies and casinos. Most of these people were lured to Cambodia, then forced to defraud Vietnamese people online.
