In the atmosphere of the days before the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan happily informed about the achievements and results that the Party Committee, government, armed forces, business community and people of all ethnic groups in the province achieved in 2023.
Notably, the economy continued to grow well, with a gross domestic product growth rate of 7.01%, ranking third among the provinces and cities with the largest economic scale in the country. The cultural and social sectors had many progressive changes, employment and social security were implemented promptly, synchronously and effectively, national defense - security, and social order and safety were ensured. The work of building the Party and the political system had many innovations with many creative and effective methods.
In addition to happily informing former provincial leaders and veteran revolutionary cadres about the achievements and highlights in 2023, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan also seriously acknowledged and informed about the limitations and shortcomings in the past year, and at the same time pointed out the major orientations that the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee have set out in 2024.
