On May 18, Comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission, had a working session with the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee on Party building and political system building since the 20th Binh Dinh Provincial Party Congress.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Truong Thi Mai highly appreciated the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee for their solidarity and unity, especially the exemplary role of the leader, creating transparency from top to bottom. In the past time, Binh Dinh has closely followed the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress; especially the work of concretizing guidelines and policies. The province has issued documents suitable to local realities to have a basis for implementing the Central's guidelines and policies. At the same time, it has built full-term working programs, annual action programs on inspection and supervision of party organizations and party members; and the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity. Regarding socio-economic development, comrade Truong Thi Mai highly appreciated the province's efforts in a number of economic development indicators, especially the industrial development index. Although the locality still faces some difficulties, the economic scale of Binh Dinh province is increasingly developing, rising compared to other provinces in the region and the general level of the whole country.
Comrade Truong Thi Mai noted that in the coming time, Binh Dinh needs to promote Party building work, well implement the resolutions of the Central Committee, firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation. In addition, Binh Dinh continues to pay attention to building grassroots party organizations, improving the quality of party members, and at the same time continue to do well, tighten the work of cadres, especially in the next term; need to care and pay attention to young cadres; urgently arrange cadres to prepare for the next term, not to be passive at the end of the term.
