Promoting Vietnam educational exchange and cooperation

Recently, Phenikaa University cooperated with Chinese Language Testing International Education Technology Company Limited (CTI) and CTI Vietnam International Education Company Limited to organize the Conference "Vietnam-China Education Cooperation 2024" (Vietnam - China Education Conference 2024).

The "Vietnam-China Educational Cooperation 2024" seminar marks an important step forward in promoting the educational relationship between the two countries. This event is not only a forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences, but also a bridge to help Vietnamese educational administrators, lecturers, students and parents directly access diverse learning opportunities in China.

Aiming to create a forum to connect education managers, staff, lecturers, students between Vietnam and China, the conference discussed current training trends; promoted educational exchanges between the two countries. At the same time, the event also created opportunities for learners to access official information on training programs, admission and study conditions, scholarship opportunities, and post-graduation employment from Vietnamese and Chinese higher education institutions.

The workshop gathered about 500 delegates, including representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, representatives of Vietnamese-Chinese universities and educational institutions, and a large number of interested lecturers, students and pupils.

The workshop focused on three main contents: Vietnam-China educational cooperation; exchanging training experiences and attraction policies; supporting learners, as well as providing information about universities in both countries.

Presenting a paper on the topic “Vietnam-China Educational Cooperation”, Prof. Dr. Pham Thanh Huy, Rector of Phenikaa University, mentioned many important aspects of the educational cooperation relationship between Vietnam and China.

Prof. Dr. Pham Thanh Huy emphasized: "The friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries are increasingly developing well in all fields, including education. Activities such as seminars, talks, and educational exhibitions are held regularly with the participation of many agencies from both countries, demonstrating the interest and importance of the leaders and people of the two countries for this field."

Prof. Dr. Pham Thanh Huy also affirmed the importance of the Conference in creating opportunities for connection between educational institutions, managers and learners from both countries. The Conference not only contributes to promoting educational cooperation but also provides valuable information for Vietnamese students who wish to study abroad in China. At the same time, it is an important stepping stone to help many Vietnamese students realize their dream of studying abroad, as well as contribute to further strengthening the friendly relationship between the two countries.

At the workshop, delegates discussed cultural, linguistic and educational exchanges between China and other countries; information about the HSK exam and notes, as well as prospects and challenges of Chinese education.

Through in-depth presentations and discussion sessions, the Conference provided a comprehensive view of modern educational trends, while opening up new opportunities for cooperation and development in the field of education between the two countries.

Also within the framework of the Conference, delegates and guests visited the area introducing Vietnamese and Chinese universities and educational institutions at the information booths. In addition, students attending the program were also directly consulted by the Admissions Board of leading Chinese universities; had the opportunity to own 3,000 free seats to take the HSK simulation exam.
