Thua Thien Hue invests 131 billion VND in construction product introduction center

The People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province announced that it has just approved the investment policy for the project of a center to introduce and display construction products on the land plot with symbol DV23 in Area C - An Van Duong New Urban Area.

Accordingly, this project has the form of selecting investors applying Decree No. 23/2024/ND-CP dated February 27, 2024 of the Government to organize bidding to select investors according to the provisions of the law on bidding.

The project aims to display and introduce construction products and other commercial services to provide more choices for users. Provide the market with quality construction materials, contributing to the beauty of works in and outside Thua Thien Hue province.

An Van Duong new urban area, where many new investment projects of Thua Thien Hue province are concentrated

The project's land use area is expected to be approximately 10,900 m2. The designed capacity includes 3 main functional areas: The steel frame warehouse area is the place to gather and store products for display and product introduction; the service area is the place to display and introduce construction products; technical infrastructure, parking lot, trees, and lawns.

The project has a total investment capital of 131,321 billion VND. Of which, the total preliminary cost of project implementation is 119,241 billion VND; and the preliminary cost of compensation, support, and resettlement is 12,08 billion VND. The project's operating period is 50 years from the date of the decision on land allocation and land lease.

The project implementation location is on the land plot with symbol DV23 in Area C - New Urban Area An Van Duong, in Phu My commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province.

According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Thua Thien Hue, immediately after the competent state agency approves the results of selecting investors to implement the project, the investor must ensure capital to implement the project (the actual progress will be proposed by the selected investor). In which, the investor's own capital is at least 26.26 billion VND (accounting for at least 20% of the total investment capital). Other legally mobilized capital is at most 105.056 billion VND (accounting for at most 80% of the total investment capital, contributing capital according to the project implementation progress). At the same time, the construction progress must be completed and the project put into operation and exploitation within no more than 36 months from the date of land handover on site.

According to Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to be the party inviting capable investors interested in implementing this project. As well as organizing the preparation and submission for approval of the invitation for interest documents; and announcing the invitation for interest according to regulations.

Based on the results of the evaluation of the investment project registration dossier, the Department of Planning and Investment will submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of the results of the invitation for expression of interest and organize the selection of investors.

"In case there are two or more investors meeting the requirements of the invitation for expression of interest, the project will organize an open bidding to select investors according to regulations. In case there is only one investor registering and meeting the requirements of the invitation for expression of interest or there are many investors registering but only one investor meeting the requirements of the invitation for expression of interest, the investor will be approved according to the provisions of the law on investment", Mr. Phuong informed.
