Thua Thien Hue: Officially put into operation a commercial center worth nearly 4,000 billion VND

On September 16, AEON MALL Hue Shopping Center officially opened to welcome visitors. The event attracted a large number of customers to visit and shop.

Right on the opening day, Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong visited and congratulated.

According to AEON VN representative, as of 10:00 a.m. on the same day, AEON MALL Hue has recorded more than 6,000 visitors. With the largest scale in Hue, AEON MALL Hue spans 4 business floors and 1 basement, bringing new shopping and entertainment experiences to customers. In addition, AEON MALL Hue also provides free utilities such as electronic lockers, touch-screen guides, strollers and wheelchairs, along with smart applications integrated via App, enhancing the shopping and entertainment experience for customers.

At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province Phan Quy Phuong highly appreciated the efforts of the investor and construction unit to put the project into operation according to the set plan. Affirming that this is one of the places that attracts a large number of people and tourists, therefore, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province Phan Quy Phuong requested AEON MALL Hue to pay close attention to safety and convenience for people to visit and shop.

Vice President Phan Quy Phuong also suggested that after the first days of opening, AEON MALL Hue Shopping Center needs to review to make appropriate adjustments to ensure standards and criteria, and prepare the best conditions to organize the official opening ceremony this weekend.

AEON MALL Hue is located in the new urban area of ​​An Van Duong, Hue City with a total area of ​​over 86,000 m2. After completion, Aeon Mall Hue will have more than 135 food, fashion, entertainment and supermarket stalls. The project was approved by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province in May 2021 and approved to adjust the investor in August 2022 with a total investment of about 169.67 million USD (equivalent to 3.9 trillion VND).

This is the 7th shopping mall in Vietnam and the first shopping mall in the Central region of AEON MALL. The project is expected to contribute to supplementing commercial service institutions and social infrastructure in the area according to the approved planning, marking a new development step in attracting investment in the trade and service sector, contributing to diversifying shopping centers for goods and services in the province.
