Prime Minister inspects transport work, wishes early New Year to railway staff

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the transport work and wished passengers and railway staff at Hanoi station a Happy New Year on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

This afternoon (January 27), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and encouraged railway staff at Hanoi station.

Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Danh Huy, Vice Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises Nguyen Ngoc Canh, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan and leaders of departments, branches and localities welcomed and accompanied the Prime Minister to inspect the transportation work and service of Tet trains at Hanoi station.

Railway staff were excited to welcome the Prime Minister to encourage them.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Railways Corporation Dang Sy Manh introduced to the Prime Minister the community car that will be connected to the SE1 train - "Spring Train" departing on the evening of January 28 (December 29), traveling through New Year's Eve with a variety of activities. The outside of the car was painted by artists, recreating spring outing activities and traditional Tet games.

The Prime Minister visited the "Spring Train" carriage, encouraged artists to participate in painting and wished passengers a Happy New Year on the train as the New Year's Eve arrived.

The Prime Minister visited the luxury Sjourney train, a high-end passenger transport product jointly developed by the railway and PYS Travel Company. The Prime Minister praised the railway for actively innovating and improving service quality, bringing a better image to the people and international tourists.

The Prime Minister visited and encouraged railway workers about their work, reminding them to pay attention to ensuring train safety and safety in all aspects.

On the eve of the Lunar New Year, the Prime Minister gave gifts and lucky money, wishing railway workers a happy New Year and good work in the new year.

Passengers waiting for the train were surprised and excited to receive lucky money and New Year wishes from the Prime Minister.
