On April 9, 2024, a delegation of Thu Thua district officials led by the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Thu Thua District Party Committee - Le Hoang Hung visited and wished the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay New Year to the Svay Anto Military Sub-region/Pray Veng Military Sub-region/Royal Cambodian Army. Accompanying them were Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Phan Van Toi. Mr. Im Soy - Chairman of the Svay Anto District Council and Mr. Pech Song - District Chief of Svay Anto District received the delegation.
On the occasion of the New Year, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Thu Thua District Party Committee - Le Hoang Hung wished the leaders and people of Svay Anto District a new year of development, prosperity, warmth and happiness. Wishing the solidarity, friendship and neighborliness between the two localities and the two Armies to be increasingly strong, long-lasting and developed.
At the same time, it is hoped that in the coming time, the two units will continue to maintain closer coordination to ensure the solidarity and friendship between the two countries, two peoples, and two localities will last forever.
On this occasion, the Thu Thua District Military Command and the Svay Anto Military Sub-region held a Conference to sign the 2024 Memorandum of Cooperation. This is the 7th year that the two units have signed the Memorandum of Cooperation, contributing to strengthening solidarity, friendship and comprehensive, sustainable and long-term cooperation, mutual understanding and trust, creating a favorable environment for cooperation in socio-economic development and strengthening national defense and security between the two countries, Vietnam - the Kingdom of Cambodia and between the two localities in the coming time.
On the same day, a delegation of Thu Thua district officials came to burn incense and pay tribute to the monument of armed forces hero and martyr Nguyen Van Ngo in the center of Svay Rieng city, Svay Rieng province, Kingdom of Cambodia./.
