Quang Da bridge opens to traffic connecting Da Nang - Quang Nam

At the technical opening ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that the Quang Da Bridge project and the approach road will start construction in December 2023 from the budget of the two localities. The bridge has extremely important political and social significance, and is a symbol of solidarity between Da Nang and Quang Nam.

Leaders of Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province cut the ribbon to "connect two happy banks" of Quang Da Bridge.

During the years of resistance, the road connecting Hoa Khuong commune (Da Nang) and Dien Tien commune (Quang Nam) was the lifeline of our army and people, witnessing many losses and sacrifices. The completion of Quang Da bridge is the pride of the people of the two localities, creating a new bridge connecting the two banks, serving the needs of travel and convenient transportation of goods.

Quang Da Bridge is not only a traffic project but also a symbol of cooperation and development between the provinces of the Central region. In particular, with the strong development of industrial parks and tourism in Da Nang and Quang Nam, convenient traffic connection is an important factor in attracting investment and creating sustainable development opportunities.

Quang Da Bridge across Yen River has an investment of 274,787 billion VND, connecting Hoa Khuong commune (Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city) and Dien Tien commune (Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province).

"The technical opening of Quang Da Bridge is an important step, opening up many new development opportunities for both Da Nang and Quang Nam. However, for the project to truly be effective in the long term, the authorities need to focus on regular maintenance and upkeep to ensure safety and sustainability. In addition, the project's auxiliary items also need to be completed and handed over promptly so that Quang Da Bridge can officially come into operation and serve the people as soon as possible," emphasized Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee.

Hundreds of people from Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province participated in welcoming the new bridge connecting "Two happy banks", serving the needs of convenient travel and transportation of goods between the two localities.

The Quang Da Bridge project is invested by the Da Nang Management Board of Investment and Construction of Transport and Agricultural Works, with a total investment of over VND 274 billion. The project is constructed by a joint venture of Xuan Quang Construction Joint Stock Company and Binh Dinh Transport Design and Consulting Joint Stock Company.
