In 2024, Nam Giang Border Gate Customs Branch carried out customs procedures for import and export goods for 81 enterprises (down 3.5% compared to 2023), including: 1 state-owned enterprise, 34 limited liability companies and 46 joint stock companies.
Regarding customs clearance of goods, compared to 2023, there were 804 more import declarations (up 184%) and 1,029 more export declarations (up 40%).
The main export goods are temporarily exported machinery and equipment for construction works, electricity, construction materials, Saigon canned beer, fly ash and the main import goods are electricity, various types of wood, dried cassava chips and re-imported machinery and equipment.
Total import-export turnover reached more than 103.3 million USD, up 20% over the same period (of which export turnover reached more than 26.45 million USD, up 22% over the same period and import turnover reached nearly 76.9 million USD, up 19% over the same period).
In addition, the branch has carried out transit customs procedures for 3,180 declarations (up 293% over the same period) with a total weight of 1.47 million tons (up 457% over the same period).
Handling exit and entry procedures for 112,156 road vehicles, up 352% over the same period (57,021 exits (up 353% over the same period) and 55,135 entries (up 352% over the same period).
Nam Giang Border Gate Customs Branch has collected 134.5 billion VND to the state budget (reaching 129% of the target, up 2.44% compared to 2023) and has not incurred tax debt.
