Notice of transfer of Criminal Records tasks from the Department of Justice to the Provincial Police

CTTĐT - Pursuant to Document No. 454/BTP-TCCB dated January 24, 2025 of the Ministry of Justice and Document No. 383/UBND-NC dated February 3, 2025 of the People's Committee of Yen Bai province on the transfer of the task of state management of judicial records from the Department of Justice to the Provincial Police, on February 28, 2025, the Department of Justice of Yen Bai province coordinated with the Provincial Police to hand over the task of state management of judicial records and perform public services of issuing judicial records.

Transfer of Criminal Records tasks from the Department of Justice to the Provincial Police from March 1, 2025

Accordingly, from March 1, 2025, the Department of Justice of Yen Bai province will end its task of state management of criminal records and providing public services of issuing criminal records. These tasks will be performed by the Provincial Police from March 1, 2025. The files requesting the issuance of criminal records that are being processed will be transferred to the Provincial Police for continued implementation.

Regarding the coordination of exchanging and providing information on criminal records between the Court, the Procuracy, and the Enforcement Agency: it is recommended that agencies proactively transfer criminal records information to the Provincial Police to build a criminal records database and look up and verify conditions for criminal record deletion according to regulations.
