On June 25, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting issued a weather forecast bulletin for the 2024 high school graduation exam (from June 26 to 29).
In general, the weather in the North and the capital Hanoi will still have rain tomorrow morning, from tomorrow afternoon until the end of the exam it will be sunny.
For the Central region, during the exam period, there was little rain and hot weather.
In the Central Highlands and the South, candidates need to be on guard against thunderstorms in the evening with a probability of 65-80%, and sunny during the day.
Detailed forecast of regions and cities for high school graduation exam dates in 2024:
Northern Region:
– June 26: Morning rain, moderate rain, heavy rain in some places, need to be on guard against the risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas. Afternoon sunshine intermittently, highest temperature of the day not exceeding 33 degrees Celsius.
– June 27: Morning showers and thunderstorms at times. Afternoon sunny, hot in some places. Highest temperature is commonly 33-35 degrees Celsius, some places over 35 degrees Celsius.
– June 28: Sunny morning, light showers in Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Lao Cai. Hot afternoon. Highest temperature 34-37 degrees Celsius.
– June 29: Hot and sunny, some places very hot. Common temperature 35-38 degrees Celsius.
Central region:
– June 26: Morning: little rain, sunny, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An have showers and thunderstorms. Afternoon: sunny, possible thunderstorms in the evening, probability of thunderstorms 60-65%. Highest temperature: 33-35 degrees Celsius.
– June 27: Sunny, possibility of thunderstorms in the late afternoon, probability of thunderstorms 55-60%. Highest temperature 32-35 degrees Celsius, some places over 35 degrees Celsius.
– June 28 and 29: Hot and sunny, some places extremely hot. Common temperature 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius.
Central Highlands and Southern region:
– From June 26 to 29: little rain in the morning, light sunshine. Sunny afternoon, showers and thunderstorms in the evening, probability of thunderstorms 65-80%. Highest temperature on exam days is 34 degrees Celsius.
Hanoi City :
– June 26: Morning with occasional rain, then no rain. Afternoon with intermittent sunshine. Highest temperature 32 degrees Celsius.
– June 27: Sunny, common temperature 32-34 degrees Celsius.
– June 28 and 29: Hot and sunny. The highest temperature is commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius.
Da Nang City :
– June 26: Sunny, possibility of thunderstorms in the late afternoon, probability of thunderstorms 60-65%. Highest temperature 33-35 degrees Celsius.
– From June 27 to 29: no rain, sunny days, except for June 29 which is hot. Highest temperature 35-37 degrees Celsius.
HCMC :
– From June 26 to 29: No rain in the morning, sunny during the day, possibility of thunderstorms in the late afternoon, probability of thunderstorms 65-85%.
Tonight, the North continues to have heavy rain
The Meteorological Agency forecasts that from tonight (June 25) to the morning of June 26, the Northern and North Central regions will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, and locally very heavy rain. The common rainfall in the mountainous and midland areas of the North (including Hoa Binh region) is 30-60mm, with some places over 120mm.
Northern Delta region 20-50mm, some places over 100mm. Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La and North Central region 20-40mm, some places over 70mm.
From the afternoon and night of June 26, heavy rain in the Northern and North Central regions is likely to gradually decrease.
In addition, on the night of June 25 and June 26, in the South Central, Central Highlands, and Southern regions, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening with rainfall from 15-30mm, in some places over 50mm.
Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.
Beware of the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas and urban areas.
