The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North is generally from 13 - 16 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas below 10 degrees Celsius; North Central region is generally 14 - 17 degrees Celsius; Quang Binh to Hue is generally 17 - 19 degrees Celsius.
To proactively respond to severe cold, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment recommends that provinces and cities (including Hanoi) closely monitor warning bulletins and forecasts on the development of cold air; promptly inform local authorities and people to proactively take appropriate preventive measures.
Implement cold response plans, strengthen guidance on ensuring health for residents and students at boarding schools. Special note: do not use charcoal stoves to heat in closed rooms to avoid human casualties.
