Don't prioritize sleep
“Lack of sleep or poor quality sleep can increase blood pressure, contribute to obesity and disrupt the body’s natural recovery process,” says Dr. Christopher Broyd. “Sleep disorders such as sleep apnea can also significantly impact heart health.”
In addition to avoiding excessive caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol consumption in the evening, this expert also recommends establishing a consistent sleep schedule to regulate our body clock and regular sleep habits.
