The calligraphy contest in Nghi Xuan (Ha Tinh) aims to contribute to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural beauty of Nghi Xuan homeland every time Tet comes.
On the morning of February 16, at the special national relic site of Great Poet Nguyen Du, Nghi Xuan district held the fourth calligraphy contest in 2024. |
The contest attracted 57 contestants who are teachers, staff, students and local residents. The contest aims to honor the life, background and career of the great poet Nguyen Du and to promote and honor the value of the masterpiece The Tale of Kieu.
This is also an opportunity for candidates to exchange and learn from each other, contributing to the development of the calligraphy movement in the district.
Entering the contest, the contestants wrote a six-eight verse from the Tale of Kieu in calligraphy.

The Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 8 consolation prizes to the contestants.
