Tran Ngoc Dan Thanh, a student at Nghia Minh High School, Nam Dinh, is the only candidate to score 10 out of more than one million Literature exams.
According to the distribution of scores in the Literature subject of the high school graduation exam, more than one million candidates nationwide achieved an average of 6.86 points. The highest score was 7. There were 92 candidates with failing scores; more than 73,600 others had below average scores.
If last year there were 5 candidates who got perfect scores in the Literature exam, this year there was only one exam that got a score of 10. This exam belonged to Tran Ngoc Dan Thanh, a student at Nghia Minh High School, Nam Dinh.
In addition to Literature, this candidate's other exam results were also good, including Math 8, History 9, Geography 8, Civic Education 9.75, English 9. Dan Thanh's total admission score for block C was 27.

This year’s high school graduation exam took place over two days, June 28-29, with more than one million candidates taking the exam. Of these, more than 943,300 used the results to both qualify for graduation recognition and apply to colleges and universities.
After knowing the exam scores, candidates who want to appeal must submit an application before July 27. Registration, adjustment and addition of university admission wishes lasts until 5:00 p.m. on July 30 and there is no limit to the number of times. From July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, candidates pay university admission fees online.
The Ministry of Education and Training and schools will begin the admission process and process university applications from August 12 to 20, thereby determining the highest application of admitted candidates.
From 5pm on August 22, schools will announce the benchmark scores and the list of first-round admissions. Candidates must confirm their admission before 5pm on September 6.
