I hope to build a business that not only brings economic value but also makes meaningful contributions to society. For me, business and social responsibility go hand in hand to create a sustainable development model.
TRAN NGOC ANH (3rd year student, Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport)
You are divided into five groups with topics: sharing about marketing knowledge, stories about human resources, corporate finance knowledge, overview and things to note for start-ups, and businesses creating social impact. In addition, you will participate in training topics and some community projects.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - co-founder of TechProfit Joint Stock Company, chairman of JCI Vietnam 2025 - hopes that the program will not only help students improve their knowledge, skills and experience but also arouse their passion and inspire them.
"You will be more aware of developing yourself, contributing to society and becoming responsible citizens, young leaders actively contributing to the development of the country," Mr. Dung expressed.
Sharing the reason for choosing the topic "Enterprises creating social impact" when attending the program, Tran Ngoc Anh, a third-year student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, said that she was always oriented that whatever she does, she must not only think about herself but also think about the common good.
Meanwhile, Dao Ngoc Hung, a third-year student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, chose the topic "Stories revolving around the human resources industry" with the expectation of learning from quality mentors not only in the human resources field but also in other industries to broaden his perspective and knowledge.
Ms. Tran Thu Ha thanked the businessmen who supported the program and said that with more support and guidance from experts, businessmen and experienced individuals, it will open up more opportunities for students to improve their knowledge and skills, ready to conquer challenges on the path of career development.
The President of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Association hopes that students will gain practical experience through this "practical semester" to broaden their horizons. Thanks to that, they will have more ideas for the upcoming process as well as career orientation and choice of path to strive.
"I hope each of you will have meaningful experiences, gain knowledge and become the best, most satisfied version of yourself," Ms. Ha said.
