Artists wish teachers good health
On the evening of July 29, nearly 200 artists, actors, and musicians who are former students of the School of Stage Arts II - now the University of Theater and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City, held a meeting to express gratitude to teachers on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of its founding (1976-2024). The meeting was very meaningful.
Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy, one of the members of the organizing committee, was moved to say that this was a meeting for generations of students of the school to express their gratitude to the teachers who imparted knowledge and experience and a place for all artists in the profession to be aware of their responsibilities as citizen artists.

Most of the golden generation of the theater after the country's reunification graduated from this school, such as: Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, People's Artist Viet Anh, singer Ngoc Son, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, People's Artist My Uyen, Meritorious Artist Cat Tuong, Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu, comedian Huu Nghia, director Phu Hai, Hoang Duan, artists Le Hoa, Phuong Binh, Huu Binh, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Thanh Vinh, director Mai Tham, Meritorious Artist Phuong Dien, artists Cong Hau, Bich Ngoc, director Phuong Hoang, Nguyen Thanh Nam, director Cao Tan Loc, artists Ho Hong Tham, Phuong Hung, Meritorious Artist Vu Xuan Trang, Hoang Thy... expressed their emotions when meeting their teachers again.
Honoring teachers who have guided, passed on their profession and always been shining examples for generations of artists to follow.
Many overseas artists who were students of the school also returned, gathered with their teachers. Although their heads were white and they no longer taught because of old age and poor health, they still followed and encouraged the generation of students to create good cultural and artistic works to serve the people.
Director Cung Thi Ngoc Phuong came back from France to attend. She expressed her happiness as she hugged the teachers.

Director Nguyen Van Phuc, despite being seriously ill and confined to a wheelchair, was still brought by his students to attend the warm teacher-student reunion.
People's Artist Tran Minh Ngoc was moved to wish the students of Stage Arts School 2 to always promote creativity, contributing to bringing many new achievements to the country's stage and cinema.

Associate Professor Dr. Do Lenh Hong Tu - Chairman of the Vietnam Cinema Association - who is also a lecturer at the school attended. He congratulated the teachers and expressed his trust in the school's students to continue to promote creativity and constantly innovate in their professional thinking.
People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi shared that for us, this meeting is not a form of reporting achievements, not presenting individual achievement reports, but an opportunity for former students to clasp hands and greet teachers like when we were still in school.
People's Artist My Uyen is happy to meet teacher Thanh Hap again.
Meritorious Artist Ca Le Hong, although no longer involved in teaching, is a member of the Arts Council of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.
"I have the opportunity to watch each stage work of my students, give comments, and am happy when they have made good progress in terms of expertise, contributing to the life of the stage with many plays of artistic quality. That is the most meaningful gift that they give to us - the ferrymen" - Meritorious Artist Ca Le Hong said.

Over the past 48 years, the School of Stage Arts II is still in the memories of teachers and students of all courses. This school has provided the whole South with a source of talented artists in many fields: directors, authors, actors, painters, musicians, critics...
They are all conscious in creating and exploring new heights. Some artists of this generation are now pillars, some of them work in management of public and non-public theater units.
Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu is happy to meet teacher Xuan Hieu again.
In particular, many artists have been awarded the title of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist by the State. All expressed their emotions and showed off to the teachers about their upcoming projects that will bring new works to the stage and screen, repaying the teachers' kindness in guiding, supporting, and imparting knowledge to the younger generation.
