According to records, at schools, preparations are taking place busily, teachers and students are cleaning classrooms for the new school year and the national festival of bringing children to school.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Luyen - Head of the Social Sciences Department, Tu Ly A Primary and Secondary School - said that in preparation for the new school year, the school's staff and teachers have worked together to clean the entire school. Up to now, preparations for the new school year have been completed, facilities have been added, and classroom spaces have been repaired to welcome students to class.
Xa Thi Quynh (grade 7, Tu Ly A Primary and Secondary School) confided: “My classmates and I are very excited about the upcoming school year. We and our teachers cleaned the school and classrooms to welcome the new school year.”
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Principal of Da Bac Town Secondary School - informed that before the new school year, the school had consulted with superiors to ensure the teaching staff in the school.
At the same time, prepare to ensure facilities, clean up the landscape; replace, supplement and repair desks and chairs for students to ensure learning.
According to Mr. Trung, the school has completed enrollment and started allowing students to attend school from August 29. Teachers also had students practice rituals and performing arts to prepare for the opening ceremony, receiving the Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister and the Emulation Flag of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province.
Mr. Do Duc Thanh - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Da Bac district - said that before the new school year took place, the unit requested schools in the area to review facilities, trim trees in the school yard, and do school sanitation work to ensure a green, clean, beautiful, airy, and safe environment to welcome children into the new school year.
According to Mr. Thanh, preparations for the opening of the 2024-2025 school year are being carried out by units and schools in accordance with the plan and instructions of the Department of Education and Training.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training has organized inspections of summer duty at schools. Up to now, 100% of schools have ensured safety in terms of security, order, fire prevention and fighting, and 100% of managers, teachers and staff have fully returned their summer leave.
"The unit also requires that the opening ceremony at schools take place in a neat, joyful and absolutely safe manner, without any incidents affecting security, order and health of students," Mr. Thanh informed.
According to information from the Department of Education and Training of Da Bac district, the unit is currently managing 47 schools with a total of 12,285 students. The whole district has 606 classrooms/598 classes, of which 100% are solid classrooms, no temporary classrooms, no unit is lacking classrooms.
Da Bac district has also invested in upgrading and repairing 29 large projects with a total cost of nearly 70 billion VND, and 10 small repair projects (4 billion VND) to prepare for the new school year 2024 - 2025.
