From early morning, many workers in Da Nang City loaded their belongings onto the "Union Bus" to return home to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.

According to Mr. Tuan, every year when returning to his hometown to celebrate Tet, the bus fare is more than 1 million VND/way. "Due to the nature of my work, every year my family returns to our hometown later than everyone else. The time is close to Tet so the bus fare is quite high, not to mention there are no seats on the bus... The Da Nang City Labor Federation arranges a bus to return to our hometown for Tet, so the trip back home helps my family save a lot of money. Hopefully the union bus will be maintained every year so that people far from home like us can return home to celebrate Tet warmly after a long time of working," Mr. Tuan confided.

"After registering for the free bus ride back to my hometown, my family prepared our belongings and were excited to arrive at the meeting point on time. Now... we just have to wait for the bus to leave. For those who work far from home like my family, receiving help from the Labor Federation to save on travel expenses during Tet is a very warm thing," said teacher Le Xuan Tien.
