At the final round of the Road to Olympia 2024 competition, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong awarded the prestigious laurel wreath and a prize worth 50,000 USD to champion Vo Quang Phu Duc.
On October 13, the final round of the Road to Olympia 2024 ended with a dramatic victory for contestant Vo Quang Phu Duc, a student at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted (Thua Thien - Hue). This victory made Phu Duc the third champion of Hue, and set a record for Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted with 7 appearances in the finals of the year.
At the end of Road to Olympia 2024, the second prize went to contestant Nguyen Nguyen Phu (Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted) with a prize of 200 million VND. The third prize went to contestants Tran Trung Kien (Le Hong Phong High School - Phu Yen) and Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh (Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted - Gia Lai) with a prize of 100 million VND.
This is the 8th consecutive year that THACO has accompanied the Road to Olympia program. Along with the scholarship awards for the weekly, monthly and quarterly competitions, THACO also awards scholarships to students with difficult circumstances but with the will and effort to study well in the province or city with the first prize winner in each quarterly competition.
Through the program, THACO hopes to create opportunities for young Vietnamese talents to develop comprehensively, while at the same time, encouraging them to strive to learn and conquer new heights.
