Hoang Quan (La Quan Dinh High School, Binh Dinh) convincingly won the gold medal in the Olympia 2025 competition.
The match of week 3, month 2, quarter 2, Road to Olympia took place this afternoon (March 2) and witnessed the fierce competition of four contestants: Pham Hoang Quan (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Binh Dinh), Nguyen Ngoc Diep (Kien An High School, Hai Phong), Phan Anh Tu (Ba Vi High School, Hanoi), Bui Phuong Anh (Binh Lu High School, Lai Chau).

Entering the first round - Individual Warm-up, Hoang Quan won 50 points after the first 6 questions. Meanwhile, Phuong Anh got 30 points, Anh Tu 20 points and Ngoc Diep 10 points.
In the General Warm-up round, with the first 2 questions, Hoang Quan continuously pressed the bell to answer but did not score any points. Meanwhile, the other contestants also started to add points to their score fund. After this round, the scores of the 4 climbers changed: Anh Tu 60 points, Hoang Quan 50 points, Phuong Anh 35 points, Ngoc Diep 30 points.
The keyword to find in this week's Obstacle Course consists of 6 letters. The first selected horizontal line has a question about finding the missing word in the song. Four contestants scored with the answer "Ticket".

After the second question was asked, 3 contestants quickly pressed the bell to answer the keyword. As the fastest one to press the bell, Hoang Quan gave the answer "Bus" and this was also Anh Tu's answer. Meanwhile, Phuong Anh answered "Cyclo".
With the correct answer “Bus”, Hoang Quan took the lead with 110 points, followed by Anh Tu with 70 points, Phuong Anh with 45 points, and Ngoc Diep with 40 points.
In the Acceleration round, Hoang Quan continued to maintain his competitive form to consolidate his leading position. Specifically, the male student from the land of martial arts had 220 points. Ngoc Diep had 140 points, Anh Tu had 120 points, Phuong Anh had 85 points.
Acceleration is considered a highly competitive event that can help climbers quickly level the score or also take the lead with the highest score.
In the first question, Ngoc Diep was the fastest to answer, earning an additional 40 points. However, the best performer in this round was Hoang Quan, who consistently gave the fastest and most accurate answers.
At the end of the round, the contestants' scores changed significantly: Hoang Quan 220 points, Ngoc Diep 140 points, Anh Tu 120 points and Phuong Anh 85 points.
Hoang Quan entered the first round of the Finish Line with a question package worth 20 - 20 - 20 points. Anh Tu was the one who rang the bell to answer Hoang Quan's third question. However, he could not give the correct answer.
Ngoc Diep also chose the 20 - 20 - 20 point question package. With the first question, Ngoc Diep answered completely correctly. However, with the second question, Hoang Quan received 20 points from the Hai Phong female student's point fund. After the competition, Ngoc Diep had 160 points.
Anh Tu continued to choose the 20 - 20 - 20 point question package. The male student chose Hope Star in the third question about English. Tu excelled and brought home another 40 points.
Phuong Anh was the last person to enter the Finish Line round with a package of 20 - 30 - 20 points. Although she chose Hope Star in question number 2, the female student could not give the correct answer.

In the final result, Pham Hoang Quan (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Binh Dinh) won the laurel wreath with 215 points and was able to go to the monthly round.
Nguyen Ngoc Diep (Kien An High School, Hai Phong) came in second with 160 points. Also in third place were Phan Anh Tu (Ba Vi High School, Hanoi) with 150 points and Bui Phuong Anh (Binh Lu High School, Lai Chau) with 55 points.
In the February match, second quarter, Road to Olympia had 4 contestants competing: Tran Quang Tung (Vinh University High School for the Gifted, Nghe An), Do Ha Trung (Thai Phuc High School, Thai Binh), Nguyen Nhat Lam (Cai Be High School, Tien Giang) and Pham Hoang Quan (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Binh Dinh).
