The Women's Union of Yen Lap district coordinated with the District Political Center to organize a training course to guide and improve the capacity to implement the "trusted address" model and communicate to improve drug prevention skills in the community for officials of communes implementing Project 8 under the National Target Program on economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030 in the district.
Overview of the training class.
At the training course, delegates were provided with knowledge and skills to establish and operate a community-based trusted address model such as: Identifying domestic violence, abuse of women and children; skills to detect victims of domestic violence and abuse; skills to respond to and resolve community-based trusted addresses; instructions on establishing and operating community-based trusted addresses to support victims of violence; the role of the Women's Union at all levels and relevant departments, branches and organizations in building, implementing and maintaining the effective operation of the "Trusted Address" model in the community; communication on the harmful effects of drugs, instructions on caring for drug addicts at home, and prevention work in the community.
This is one of the contents of Project 8 "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children" under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030 in Yen Lap district, phase 1 from 2021-2025.
Through training, it contributes to improving the capacity of local officials in building the "Trusted Address" model, contributing to better implementation of gender equality work, promoting socio-economic development goals in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
