Training on policies and laws on collective economy

On the morning of December 18, the Provincial Cooperative Union coordinated with the Association of Former Youth Volunteers to organize a training course on the Party and State's policies and laws on collective economy.

At the training session, more than 50 members of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers with good economic performance in the province were informed by Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thoa - Vice President of the Provincial Cooperative Union about the policies of the Party and the State on collective economy and cooperatives in the current period, focusing on Resolution 20-NQ/TW, dated June 16, 2022; new points of the Law on Cooperatives 2023, which was just passed by the National Assembly at the 5th session with many policies of the State on the development of cooperative groups, cooperatives, cooperative unions... Accordingly, the law has many preferential regulations on support in terms of land, capital, taxes and fees, agricultural risk insurance, human resources, information and consulting, and conversion from cooperative groups to cooperatives.

Through the training session, members of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers who are participating in cooperatives and cooperative groups in the province continue to promote their sense of responsibility and prestige in their families and in the village and local communities. At the same time, they propagate and mobilize relatives and the masses to learn about the Party and State's policies and laws on collective economy, and learn about new cooperative models. Thereby raising people's awareness, motivating and encouraging family members and the masses to unite and cooperate in business to increase income, improve life and contribute to the overall economic development of the province. Through the discussion, the delegates also proposed mechanisms and policies to support and mobilize resources to help members of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of the province have favorable conditions to participate in economic development to escape poverty sustainably, strive to become rich legitimately, and contribute to society.

It is known that in recent years, the movement “Former Youth Volunteers help each other to do good business because of comradeship” has been promoted by the Association of Former Youth Volunteers at all levels in the province. Through that, many models and examples of good business have emerged, such as farms for growing crops, raising livestock, trading, especially family businesses that have developed.
