Binh Thuan participates in the Week of displaying and introducing typical cooperative products in Thai Nguyen

BTO-Recently, in Thai Nguyen province, the Cooperative Union of Binh Thuan province participated in the opening of the Week of displaying, promoting and introducing typical cooperative products of 28 provinces and cities across the country.

The week of displaying, promoting and introducing typical cooperative products is an annual activity organized by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Cooperative Union. The Binh Thuan Provincial Cooperative Union participates to promote trade and promote typical OCOP agricultural products of cooperatives in the province with the province's advantageous products such as: white-fleshed dragon fruit, red-fleshed dragon fruit, dragon fruit processed products, salted roasted cashew nuts, sun-dried pigeon, melon, fish sauce... Thereby, creating a link between producers, processors, distributors and consumers as well as promoting trade, helping cooperatives consume products in large quantities, contributing to improving the competitiveness of cooperatives and enterprises in the province as well as provinces and cities nationwide.

Within the framework of the Exhibition Week, there was also a Forum to exchange experiences in connecting and consuming products in the digital environment for the cooperative economic sector and cooperatives in provinces/cities in 2024. On the sidelines of the Trade Promotion Conference, the Cooperative Union of Binh Thuan province also visited and worked with the Cooperative Union of Thai Nguyen province. At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao - Chairwoman of the Cooperative Union of Binh Thuan province and Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Chairman of the Cooperative Union of Thai Nguyen province gave an overview of the development of the cooperative economic sector in the two provinces, and the province's policies on the development of the cooperative economic sector. The two sides exchanged and shared experiences in leading, managing and operating the Cooperative Development Fund; shared effective cooperative models in the province, supported each other in the process of operation, connected cooperatives to introduce, promote and consume products.
